Brittney M. Welch Associate

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Brittney joined Gilbert LLP in 2025.   She represents corporate and individual clients in complex civil litigation and insurance recovery matters.  She also maintains an active pro bono practice.

Prior to joining Gilbert, Brittney served as a judicial law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and as a judicial law clerk on the Vermont Supreme Court.  In 2022, Brittney joined the U.S. Department of Justice through the Attorney General’s Honors Program, the nation’s premier entry-level Federal attorney recruitment program.  At the Department of Justice, Brittney was a Trial Attorney in one of the most active litigation sections, where her practice included government contracts, government pay and personnel suits, international trade, veteran and other benefit appeals.

She received her law degree from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
