We have advised dozens of nonprofits with respect to the scope of coverage under their existing insurance portfolios as well as the purchase of new lines of insurance coverage. These coverage reviews frequently include suggesting improvements that eliminate unintentional gaps in coverage, reduce redundancy, or simply clarify that the desired risk transfer has been achieved. For instance, we recently advised a start-up legal advocacy nonprofit in purchasing new directors and officers, employment practices liability, commercial general liability, and cyber risks coverage.
