Gilbert LLP Announces Selection of Jenna Hudson as New Firm Partner

HUDSON JOINS GROWING FIRM’S PARTNERSHIP HAVING BUILT A STRONG RECORD IN INSURANCE LAW AND POST-BANKRUPTCY TRUSTS

Gilbert LLP announced today that it has named Jenna Hudson to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2019. Hudson has been with the firm since 2010.

“We are thrilled to have Jenna join our growing partnership,” said firm founder Scott Gilbert. “She has demonstrated superb legal skills, potent strategic insight, and great leadership potential during her time with us as an Associate.”

Hudson is a 2010 graduate of the American University Washington College of Law. She is a member of the D.C., Maryland, Massachusetts, and U.S. Supreme Court bars.

Hudson joined Gilbert in 2010. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation and dispute resolution. Hudson has represented policyholders in both federal and state trial courts with respect to a wide range of insurance coverage matters. She also advises post-bankruptcy trusts regarding the recovery of insurance proceeds.

Hudson currently is involved in nationwide efforts to stem the tide of the opioid epidemic. She represents multiple states’ attorneys general and sovereign Indian tribes in litigation asserting that the prescription opioid industry caused and fueled the opioid crisis.

“I have had the pleasure to work with and learn from Gilbert attorneys since I was in law school, and I am thrilled to take a greater role in shaping the future of the firm and the service we provide to our clients,” Hudson said.

Hudson’s promotion comes shortly after Gilbert added veteran Washington, D.C. litigator and anti-trust attorney Rick Leveridge to its partnership.

Gilbert LLP is a Washington-based law firm specializing in litigation and strategic risk management, insurance recovery and complex dispute resolution.
