Glenn Chappell joined Gilbert LLP in 2026. He represents corporate and individual clients in complex civil litigation and insurance recovery matters, with a focus on representing healthcare providers in reimbursement disputes with commercial payors. Before joining Gilbert, Glenn chaired the appellate practice of a class action litigation boutique in Washington, D.C. and represented clients in a variety of complex civil disputes.
After law school, Glenn clerked for the Honorable Gerald Bard Tjoflat of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He graduated summa cum laude from Duke University School of Law in 2017, where he dedicated more than 450 hours to pro bono work and served as Managing Editor of the Duke Law Journal and Senior Research Editor of the Duke Law & Technology Review. He graduated with honors from Saint Leo University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration.
Glenn is also a Professional Lecturer in Law at the George Washington Law School, where he teaches an experiential course on appellate advocacy. His legal scholarship has appeared in multiple publications, including the Duke Law Journal and the University of Richmond Law Review.
