Tyler Williams Associate

Tyler joined Gilbert in 2025.  He represents policyholders and bankruptcy trusts across a variety of industries, including education, healthcare, financial services, the life sciences, manufacturing, entertainment and tourism, and many others. His work often focuses on mass torts and long-tail general liability claims, but he has pursued coverage under every type of policy, including professional liability, product liability, environmental liability, directors and officers, fiduciary liability, representation and warranty, cyber, property and business interruption, marine and other specialty lines.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

  • Representing third-party administrator of employee retirement plan in litigation with E&O carriers relating to coverage of claims brought by plan participants.
  • Assisting public company in recovery under representation-and-warranty policy for loss resulting from seller’s misrepresentation of revenue.
  • Representing bankruptcy trust in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and adversary proceedings to recover liability insurance proceeds for the benefit of asbestos personal injury claimants.
  • Representing a major consumer products manufacturer in securing coverage for long-tail mass tort liabilities.
  • Advising a leading managed healthcare enterprise in complex coverage matters involving E&O and cyber liability insurance programs.
