William Swain Associate

Will Swain joined Gilbert in 2023. He works with Gilbert attorneys who represent corporate and individual clients in complex civil litigation matters. Prior to joining Gilbert LLP, Will was a law clerk at a renowned public finance law firm that served communities across North Carolina.

Will earned his law degree from North Carolina Central University School of Law and received several book awards and scholarships for stellar academic performance. He was a Legal Writing Tutor and Senior Editor of the North Carolina Central Law Review. At NCCU’s Juvenile Law Clinic, he represented juvenile clients facing criminal complaints while under the guidance of a prominent Durham, N.C. judge.
